Cool Beer Equipment
Beer has been around for several centuries. It has been recorded in history as far back as 3000 B.C. I mull over how beer was kept cool way back then.
Beer was made at home, for the most part, prior to the Industrial Revoltion. However, ever since the seventh century A.D., beer was being produced and sold by monasteries in Europe. After the Industrial revolution, the industrial production of beer began. And by the end of the 19th century most beer was produced and manufactured by industry and not at home.
The introduction of thermometers and hydrometers would then permit Brewers to be able to control the process and test results in a more efficient manner. Breweries today produce many different types of beer from lagers to dark beers, wheat beers, stouts, pale ales, bitters, and modern creations such as chili beer and cream male, and Moose Brool ( which is actually a brand and rather good).
It is desirable to keep beer cool, but is also a challenge, especially in North America. nowadays, we have beer coolers and kegerators to make that achievable. The kegerater is a residential beer dispensing device. The keg is stored in a cabinet-like appliance to keep it chilled. By being kept stored in such a mechanism, the keg can be tapped for up to two months without losing any quality in the taste of the beer. There are many styles for the beer dispenser:
The True Beer Dispenser is made to last and is especially desirable by not only home beer aficionados, but also small restaurants and other commercial endeavors.
Smaller in the home, stand alone units like the Nostalgia Electrics KRS 2100 or 2150 which is a kegorator. These can take up to a full keg and are designed to serve the home or small commercial establishment.
A final example is the Vinotemp 5 Liter Beer Dispenser which is a table top 5 Liter beer model that will hold a mini-keg.
It is much easier to serve cold beer with an in home beer dispenser. You can choose one that will fit your needs and be ready for anyone stopping by for a ‘cold one”.
